Down Every Road is a 4 cd set composed of 100 of Merle Haggard's most important songs released from 1962- 1994. Each CD represents a different period of Haggard's career. 

In 2012, Rolling Stone magazine ranked the collection #477 on their list of "500 Greatest Albums of All Time", stating that it "is the ultimate collection from one of country's finest singers."
